About Somi
With 10 years of experience as a Spanish tutor, I have successfully guided approximately 150–200 students toward achieving confidence and fluency in the language. I teach learners of all levels and strongly believe that personalized learning is the foundation of successful education. Every lesson is carefully designed to match the student's learning style, interests, and long-term goals.
My lessons cover grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, writing, listening, and speaking while emphasizing practical communication through conversations, storytelling, language games, and real-world examples. I encourage students to use Spanish naturally from the beginning, helping them develop confidence alongside technical language skills.
I create a positive and encouraging classroom atmosphere where students feel comfortable expressing themselves and learning from their mistakes. I provide detailed feedback, regular progress reviews, and customized study recommendations that help students continue improving outside the classroom.
One of my greatest strengths is adapting my teaching methods to suit learners with different educational backgrounds and confidence levels. I explain challenging concepts clearly and develop personalized learning materials that make studying easier and more enjoyable.

My teaching approach focuses on making Spanish practical, enjoyable, and easy to understand. I believe creativity keeps students interested, so I use storytelling, games, discussions, role plays, and real-life conversations in every lesson. Students learn by actively using Spanish, which helps them remember vocabulary, improve pronunciation, and communicate naturally.
As both a mentor and critical thinker, I encourage students to explore grammar concepts through examples and meaningful practice. I guide learners to build confidence by solving language challenges, asking questions, and expressing their thoughts clearly. My classroom promotes curiosity, independence, and continuous learning.
Accountability is an essential part of my teaching philosophy. I create personalized learning plans, establish realistic goals, review progress regularly, and provide supportive feedback that motivates students to improve. Lessons are adapted to each student's needs so they can learn at a comfortable pace.
Students practice grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, speaking, listening, reading, writing, and conversation skills in every class. Besides Spanish, I teach Spanish Grammar, Reading Skills, Writing Skills, Vocabulary Building, Pronunciation Improvement, Conversation Practice, Spanish Literature, Business Spanish, Cultural Studies, Travel Spanish, and DELE Exam Preparation. My mission is to help students enjoy learning Spanish while achieving confidence and fluency.
