About Tessa
Physics has been part of a sixteen-year teaching career during which I have guided 860 students, from nervous beginners to more advanced students preparing for serious examinations. My own training spans both academic study and years of applied technical work, giving me a strong practical grounding beyond purely formal study. I am a demanding but genuinely supportive tutor, believing real mastery requires patient, deliberate practice rather than rushed repetition before a deadline. Several of my tutoring relationships have lasted many years, letting me guide a student's entire academic development from first lessons through confident, independent exam performance. Watching former students go on to succeed in demanding programs remains one of the most meaningful parts of my career.

Structured practice routines broken into short focused segments consistently outperform long, unfocused study sessions in my experience over many years. For students preparing for exams, I schedule frequent mock assessments under realistic conditions, since strong technique alone rarely guarantees a confident result under genuine pressure. I maintain detailed long term progress records for every student, tracking subtle improvements across months of consistent, structured lessons.
