About Emmy

I am a passionate French tutor with 15 years of experience teaching students at all levels, having worked with approximately 150–200 learners. My approach is based on personalised learning, allowing me to adapt lessons according to each student’s strengths, challenges, and objectives.

I use a variety of engaging methods, including interactive conversations, storytelling, and real-world applications, to make learning dynamic and meaningful. Along with strengthening grammar and vocabulary, I emphasise pronunciation and communication skills to help students use French confidently.

I am dedicated to fostering a supportive learning environment where students feel motivated and comfortable. My goal is to help learners achieve fluency and develop a genuine interest in the French language.

About the lesson

I believe that learning French should feel both structured and natural, which is why my teaching methodology is built on flexibility, empathy, compassion, communication, and collaboration. I adjust my lessons based on the learner’s pace and preferences, ensuring that progress feels achievable and motivating.

By fostering empathy and compassion, I create a supportive environment where students feel confident to speak, even if they are still developing their skills. Communication is a key focus, with an emphasis on helping students think and respond in French through regular interaction.

Collaboration is encouraged through engaging activities like storytelling, discussions, and real-life scenarios that bring the language to life. In addition to French, I include grammar, vocabulary development, and cultural insights to provide a balanced and immersive learning experience.
