About Dasso

I am a holder of a bachelor degree in Accounting.
I am an ACCA finalist .
I love accounting because it is a challenging field of study.
I had acquired alots of teaching experience not only in accounting but also in FRENCH.
It was dificult for me to understand complex concept in accounting, reason why, I decided to lecture it so that student would not face the same difficult I had face when reading this course in the university.

About the lesson

Before having a class with a student, I firstly asked their challenges in a particular topic or course, then I will design the lesson plan that will forcus mostly on their challenges.
I know how accounting can be discouraging when you do not understand. Reason why i decided to lecture this course to ease and facilitate the understanding process. My lessons are for beginners, intermediate, undergraduate and post graduate.

Have knowledge in various field mostly due to ACCA which is an international accounting certificate. The following are just an iceberg of different type of topic in which I have indepth knowledge. Just to name a few we have:

1.Introduction to accounting (Assets, Liabilities, Capital/Equity, Expenses and Revenue/ Income)

2.The Full Financial Accounting Cycle
-Learning T-accounts
-Learning journal recording
-learning accounting day books such as the sales daybook. purchase daybook etc
-learn the two, three column cash book and the petty cash book
-Analysing transactions
-Journalizing Transactions
-Trial balance
-Adjusting entries and contra accounts
-Basic Financial statements knowledge: Income statement, Balancesheet and Cashflow statement.
-Closing entries
-Post-closing trial balance.
-Double entries principle, correction of errors and end of year adjustment
-control accounts that is receivable control account and payable control account

3. Cost accounting cycle
-Distinguish between direct and indirect cost
-Distinguish between fixed cost, variable cost, mixed cost and stepped fixed cost.
-Understanding the meaning of overhead
-Apportionment of overhead using absorption costing method or marginal costing method
-Calculation of work in progress
-Calculation and interpretation of variance analysis
- Distinguish between favourable and adverse variance
-Establishment of standard budget, fixed budget or flexed budget.

4.Other Accounting topics
-learn even the basic UK tax system under the finance act 2022
-basic and advance consolidation
-computation of present value
-calculation of breakeven
-interpretation of financial statemens with financial and non financial indicator
-throughput, lifecycle and target costing
-basic in budgeting
-financial instruments
-cost of capital that is master how to calculate the WACC(Weighted Average Cost of Capital)
-advice shareholder on either to choose equity or debt finance
-learning international accounting standard and it application
-calculation of depreciation using the straight line method or reducing balance method or sum of year digit
-calculating EOQ
-learning inventory recording method such as LIFO, FIFO, WACC.
-Learning how to record in a stock card
-master the calculation of ratio
-master complex IAS such as IAS33, IFRS 9, IFRS 16 and many more
-introduction to auditing
