About Patrick

PRESENT: Part-Time Lecturer – Faculty of Business
Prepares and deliver lectures and tutor students studying Business & Finance courses.
Main duties include preparation, development and conducting of lectures, tutorials, workshops and seminars, marking and grading of student assessments, module coordination and quality assurance and involvement of professional and academic bodies;

1. Prepares and deliver lectures and tutor students studying Business & Finance courses.
2. Prepares Teaching plan/Scheme of work for each semester for the class/courses being taken upon receipt of syllabus from the Programme Coordinator for Accountancy programs.
3. Delivers lectures and tutors students taking Accountancy Courses according to assigned levels, using appropriate teaching methods and aids as necessary to enable students comprehend what is being taught.
4. Prepares handouts from various materials available in the library, syllabi, internet and other publications that are useful to students to assist them acquire the necessary knowledge and skills.
5. Sets, administers and marks tests, assignments and class work aiming at gauging the level of understanding and progress of Accountancy students.
6. Maintain student attendance and assessment records. Supervise student work.
7. Develop, implement, invigilate, supervise and grade assessments and examinations.
8. Maintain oﬃce hours for consultation with students.
9. A role model to students in terms of scholarship, professional behaviour, responsibility and ethics.
10. Encourage students to show evidence of one’s own research or scholarly activities.
