About Antonia
Teaching exists because I find the transition between languages fascinating, especially since I grew up in Barcelona before spending 13 years in the US. This dual life allows me to navigate cultural context, travel Spanish, and the subtle differences between Latin American and Castilian variants with ease. My MA TESOL from the University of Southern California supports the linguistic technicality I use to explain accent, intonation, and verb conjugation. I focus heavily on listening practice because language is a lived experience that flows across borders, constantly shifting like the tides at home.
