About Wilson
I have just completed my final year in Winchester College having spent 5 years there. I was both an academic and music scholar for the whole duration and I have learnt to be efficient with time through my many commitments. I also thoroughly enjoy playing sports and am both the captain of football and tennis for my house. I find that tutoring works best when there is a certain level of a personal connection so that the student feels at ease with asking questions.

During my GCSE period, I initially struggled a lot with understanding certain concepts, and didn’t find the methods that my teachers used to be the most efficient approach. This resulted in my mock results resulting in only one 9 with numerous 7s and even a 5. However, after understanding myself the best approach to learning, I can confidently say that I know exactly what people may be struggling with and can therefore aid them more effectively.
As for tutoring A levels, I have just finished my examinations and am very capable to teach the subjects which I studied to an adequate depth (namely maths, further maths, physics and economics). This is reflected by my 4 A* predicted grades.
As an academic scholar at Winchester College, I have been surrounded by many of the brightest students in the UK, and I am sure that I will be able to tailor lessons to the needs of each individual.
