My Qualifications & Experience:
I am an advanced pianist and music theorist with a deep passion for helping students unlock their musical potential. I hold ABRSM Grades 2, 4, 6, and 8 in Piano Performance, having achieved my Grade 8 with merit. I have also achieved ABRSM Grade 5 in Music Theory with merit.
My Teaching Methodology & Techniques:
My teaching philosophy centers on building a strong, versatile foundational technique while fostering a genuine love for the instrument. Whether a student is preparing for a formal exam or playing purely for personal enjoyment, we establish clear, achievable milestones to track progress and maintain motivation.
Standard Lessons (45 to 60 minutes): Recommended for intermediate to advanced students, allowing ample time to cover technical exercises, sight-reading, theory, and repertoire.
Shorter Sessions (30 minutes): Available for younger beginners to maintain focus and enthusiasm without causing cognitive fatigue.
With proficiency in both English and Chinese, I welcome students from all ages!
