About Dorcas
I am an Occupational Therapy student with a passion for music, piano and working with children. Having played the piano for many years, I enjoy sharing my love of music with others. I want to teach because I believe learning the piano should be enjoyable, rewarding, and tailored to each student. My aim is to help children build confidence, develop strong musical foundations, and discover the joy of making music in a supportive environment. I also have experience teaching piano to young beginners and enjoy helping children build confidence as they develop their musical skills.

I offer fun, patient, and personalised piano lessons for children and beginners. My lessons focus on building strong fundamentals, including note reading, rhythm, hand position, and musical confidence, while keeping learning enjoyable through familiar songs and interactive activities. I mainly use the Piano Adventures series, with additional music such as Disney songs to keep students engaged. My goal is to help every student learn at their own pace, develop good technique, and most importantly, enjoy playing the piano.
