About Donagh
I got 625 points in the 2025 Leaving Cert, with H1s in Maths, Applied Maths, Physics and Irish. Because I've only just gone through the exams myself, I know exactly what's being asked at each level and what actually works under time pressure — not advice from years ago. Crrently studying Civil Engineering at UG.
I believe the point of a grind is to build real understanding, not to have students rote-learn material they'll forget by the exam. I stayed involved in sport all through school, so I also understand the importance of studying smart rather than just studying long, and I try to bring that mindset into how I structure sessions.
I offer grinds in Maths, Applied Maths, Physics and Irish Oral, for Junior Cycle and Leaving Cert, at both Ordinary and Higher Level.

I believe the whole point of grinds is for students to gain real understanding of topics they can't fully grasp from class, rather than memorising information without knowing why it works. Each session includes worked examples, past-paper style questions, and clear step-by-step explanations of the logic behind each method. Having just completed the Leaving Cert myself, I can also give current, practical advice on managing the workload across subjects — especially the demands of Applied Maths and Physics.
