About the lesson

I love biology, and love how many different ways there are to explain science! Teaching Methodology and Techniques: My teaching methodology emphasizes active learning, where students are encouraged to participate in discussions, problem-solving, and hands-on activities 1-on-1. I use a combination of direct instruction for foundational concepts, followed by interactive sessions. This blend ensures that concepts are not only understood but also retained. I also incorporate technology, utilizing educational software and online resources to make lessons. Typical Lesson Plan: A typical lesson begins with a brief review of the previous session's material to reinforce learning and address any lingering questions. We then transition to the introduction of a new concept, using a mix of visual aids, examples, and interactive dialogue to explore the topics, with emphasis on poorly understood areas. After the instructional portion, we engage in practice exercises, to apply what has been learned. Each session concludes with a summary of key takeaways and a preview of the next lesson's focus, ensuring continuity and progression in learning. What Sets Me Apart as a Tutor: What distinguishes me as a tutor is my commitment to adaptability and continuous feedback.
