About Layla
Hi! My name is Layla and I’m currently in my fourth year studying Applied Languages at the University of Limerick. I have a real passion for languages and have had the opportunity to live in both France and Spain, which has allowed me to develop my language skills and experience different cultures.
I’m a friendly and patient person, and I’d love to help others feel more confident learning and speaking French. Whether you’re starting from the beginning, preparing for school exams, or simply want to improve your speaking and vocabulary, I’m happy to work with you and adapt lessons to what you need.
As I’m a student myself, I understand that learning a language can sometimes feel difficult or intimidating. My aim is to create a relaxed environment where you can practice, ask questions and improve at your own pace.

I am a fourth-year Languages student at the University of Limerick and have experience living & teaching in France. I am passionate about languages and would love to help students improve their French in a friendly and relaxed environment.
I can help with French reading, writing, speaking and vocabulary, and I am happy to adapt lessons depending on what the student would like to work on. As I am a university student myself, I understand that everyone learns differently, and I would aim to make lessons comfortable, encouraging and suited to each student's individual needs.
Lessons would typically be around 1 hour long, where we can practise conversation, work through texts, build vocabulary, or focus on areas of French that the student finds difficult.
My lessons would be suitable for beginners and students looking to improve their confidence in French, including secondary school students.
