About Adele
Hi! I’m an engineering student at the University of Waterloo, and I know from experience how tough STEM courses can be. I’ve worked hard to get where I am today, and I’d love to support students who are facing similar challenges.

As a fourth-year engineering student at the University of Waterloo, I focus on helping students truly understand concepts rather than rely on memorization. I adapt my teaching style to each student’s learning pace and goals, ensuring lessons are both effective and encouraging.
A typical lesson begins with a brief review of prior material, followed by a clear explanation of new concepts using step-by-step problem solving. I incorporate guided practice, where we work through examples together, and independent practice, where students apply what they’ve learned with my support. Lessons conclude with a summary of key ideas and strategies students can use independently.
