About
Hi! I'm Abigail, a neuroscience student with over four years of tutoring experience helping students succeed in high school math and elementary school reading and writing. I've always enjoyed working with students because I know that with the right support, even the most challenging subjects can become enjoyable.
I believe learning isn't about memorizing answers; it's about understanding why something works. That's why I take the time to meet students where they are, adapt to their learning style, and break complex concepts into simple, easy-to-understand steps. Whether we're solving algebra problems, improving reading comprehension, or strengthening writing skills, my goal is to help students feel confident enough to tackle challenges on their own.
I strive to create a positive, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and growing from them. Seeing a concept finally click for a student is one of the most rewarding parts of tutoring, and I'm committed to helping every student build not only stronger academic skills but also greater confidence in themselves.
