About Sarvika

I’m Sarvika, a passionate and patient tutor who believes that learning should feel empowering, not overwhelming. My goal is to help every student unlock their potential by making even the toughest concepts clear and approachable. I create a friendly, encouraging space where mistakes are seen as stepping stones, and progress is celebrated at every stage. I adapt my teaching to each student’s needs — whether that means breaking topics into simple steps, providing real-life examples, or offering challenging extension work to push boundaries. With experience teaching high school and university students in STEM, computing, and design, I blend academic knowledge with practical problem-solving skills. I’m committed to building my students’ confidence, helping them not only improve grades but also develop the independent thinking and study habits that will serve them long after our lessons end.

About the lesson

Approach to Tutoring
I focus on making complex topics feel simple, relatable, and enjoyable to learn. My teaching style is interactive and personalised — I adapt explanations to each student’s pace, use real-world examples, and encourage active problem-solving rather than rote memorisation. I also check understanding frequently, ensuring concepts are fully grasped before moving forward.

Techniques & Methodology
Step-by-step explanations with visual aids, analogies, and practical exercises.
Guided practice followed by independent problem-solving to build confidence.
Regular recap sessions and progress reviews.
Encouraging a growth mindset, where mistakes are seen as learning opportunities.

Lesson Length
Typically 60–90 minutes per session, depending on the subject and student’s needs. Shorter sessions are available for younger learners or targeted revision.

Qualifications & Experience
I have a strong academic background and hands-on experience tutoring students across multiple subjects, with a focus on making learning efficient and engaging. My approach is shaped by both formal education and real-world application, enabling me to teach not just theory but also practical skills.
