About Melissa
Hey Future Student,
A few things about me:
1) I'm a 3rd-year mechatronics engineering student (yes, I've built a robot) so I know a thing or two about math and science and can promise I'll teach you methods to succeed and understand these subjects.
2) I graduated high school with a 97% average while being involved in competitive hockey and many other extracurricular sports.
3) I'm a student leader at Western University. What does that mean? It means I've helped over 80 first-year students with their transition to university, both academically and socially. This means I know how to connect with you so I can tailor my teachings to be most effective in helping YOU!
As they say in engineering: it's a team sport, so together, we got this!

My lessons are tailored to your needs each session, whether it's an exam coming up, or getting ahead of future content. I prefer a collaborative environment, so lecture-styled sessions are not how I teach. My lessons start with the basics, as everything builds off those fundamentals, and progress to the core material.
