First, I like to get to know the student’s basic mathematical strengths and weaknesses to address. I then like to teach chapter by chapter, in line with the students course preferably even slightly ahead of the course. This allows the student to stay ahead and prepared. When close to exams, the method is slightly altered to a broader approach.
