About Alex
I am currently a 3rd year maths student at the University of Hull offering. My goal as a tutor is to get my students the results they deserve. Lessons can be used to help students complete their homework during the academic year.

My teaching methodology is a step by step approach. I will explain every little thing I do and will not move on until my student understands what is happening. A big problem with classroom based maths learning is teachers not explaining every little thing they do. Maths is sequential so is imperative that every step is understood by the student in order for them to become competent with the material. Lessons will vary depending on the time of the year. From September- March lessons are best spent on helping students understand and complete their assigned homework. Then from late march-test day lessons will focus heavily on exam prep. lessons in this period will be dedicated attacking the students weak areas and completing past papers (studying the test).

Details
Cancellations with at least 24hr notice will not be charged. Cancellations with less then 24hr notice will be charged. These conditions apply to both parties.
If our lessons are focused around completing homework and you need to cancel there is the option to send me the homework. I will not complete the homework for the student but I will provide hints and similar completed examples with step by step instructions. This will always be charged so optional outside of the 24hr period but if you cancel within the 24hr period I will still provide this service as best I can.
