About Srishti

I understand that choosing a tutor means placing trust in someone to genuinely help you learn — so I want to be upfront and clear about who I am and what you can expect.

I'm a 3rd-year Computer Science Engineering student, currently building my own skills in Python, Data Structures & Algorithms, and data science as part of my degree and personal projects. I'm not a decade-long veteran teacher, and I won't pretend to be — but that's exactly why I connect well with beginners: I've recently sat exactly where you are, hit the same confusing walls, and figured out how to get past them. That perspective is fresh, not distant.

What I can promise you:

Reliability — I show up prepared for every session, having thought through how to explain the day's topic simply before we start.
Patience — there's no such thing as a "silly question" in my sessions. If something doesn't make sense the first time, we'll approach it a different way until it does.
Honesty — if there's a concept I'm less confident explaining, I'll say so and work through it properly with you rather than bluffing my way past it.
Genuine investment in your progress — I track what we've covered and build each session on the last, so you're not just learning isolated tricks but actually building understanding over time.

I'm building my tutoring experience alongside my own learning journey, and I take that responsibility seriously — every student I teach is someone I want to see genuinely improve, not just complete a session.

About the lesson

Teaching techniques and methods:
I focus on concept-first learning rather than syntax memorization. Before writing any code, we talk through the logic in plain language so you understand why something works, not just how to type it. I use a lot of small, hands-on problems solved together in real time (screen-shared) rather than long lectures, and I regularly pause to have you explain a concept back to me in your own words, since that's the fastest way to catch gaps in understanding.

Usual structure of a class:
Each session typically starts with a quick recap of what we covered last time and any doubts that came up while practicing. Then we move into the main topic — I'll explain it with a simple example, we solve 1–2 problems together, and then you attempt one on your own while I guide you if you get stuck. We close with a short summary and 1–2 practice problems for you to try before the next session.

Special features as a teacher:
I'm learning DSA and advanced Python myself right now, alongside my CSE coursework — which means I remember exactly where beginners get confused, and I explain things the way I'd have wanted them explained to me. I also bring a strong communication background, so I break down technical ideas in plain, simple language rather than jargon-heavy explanations.

Who the classes are for:
Best suited for school students (class 9 and above) learning Python for the first time, college students building programming fundamentals or preparing for coding tests/interviews, and complete beginners of any age who want a patient, judgment-free introduction to coding.
