About Teddy
Teaching has always been my favourite way of making friends. Unsurprisingly this has led me to be surrounded by friends who are very academically successful. Across all academic subjects there is one subject essential to them all, Mathematics. With so many friends across so many different fields I've taught Maths to every type of student possible. My name is Teddy Xu and if there's one thing I like more than Maths, it's to teach. I'm an 18-year-old 2nd year undergraduate who's taught students as young as 10 to university students struggling with calculus. I'd love to help you too!

I believe the greatest way to teach Maths is to show purpose. From the advanced students who are struggling to understand complex formulae, to the struggling students who think maths is just memorisation. Learning the purpose of Maths techniques helps drive not only understanding and inspiration but can even help with memorisation. I prefer teaching longer lessons 1 hour+ and I can teach any level or complexity of GCSE, pre-university, and competition Maths. I can teach in-person and online!
