About Sidak

Hi! I'm currently a driven 2nd year student at BITS Pilani, tackling a unique dual degree program in Mathematics (M.Sc.) and Electronics Engineering (B.Tech.). My passion for math goes beyond the classroom – I've conquered prestigious olympiads like the RMO and NMTC and even earned recognition as an NTSE scholar. Always up for a challenge, I'm excited to learn and collaborate!

About the lesson

Teaching Techniques and Methods:

Hands-on Learning: I believe in making math tangible. I use manipulative games, and real-world examples to connect abstract concepts to students' experiences.

Differentiation: Every student learns differently. I use a variety of teaching methods, like visual aids, group work, and individual instruction, to cater to different learning styles.

Structure of a Class:

Review: We always begin with a quick review of prior concepts, ensuring a strong foundation before moving forward.

Introduction of New Material: I present new concepts clearly and concisely, using visuals and real-world applications to pique interest.

Guided Practice: Students work on problems with my support, allowing me to identify areas needing clarification.

Special Features:

Technology Integration: I leverage educational technology tools like simulations, online platforms, and interactive games to enhance learning experiences.

Growth Mindset: I foster a growth mindset by emphasizing the power of effort and practice. We celebrate improvement over perfection, encouraging students to persist through challenges.

Who I Teach:

I'm happy to tailor my lessons to students from primary school all the way to high school. This allows me to adjust the complexity and depth of the material to match the specific age group and curriculum requirements.

Ultimately, my goal is to create a classroom where math becomes a journey of discovery, not just a memorization exercise. By fostering understanding, confidence, and a love of learning, I empower students to excel in math and beyond.
