About Elodie

¡Hola! My name is Elodie, I am currently a 2nd year Spanish language student at Queens University Belfast, and will be doing my year abroad next year. I finished my A-levels with an A* after finding the best ways to learn a new language and revise. I want to help people struggling with learning Spanish to reach their full potential and help find the best approaches for each individual to learn. I understand the struggles we all face learning a new language, I definitely felt the pressure from the change to GCSE and A-level Spanish and struggled in the beginning, however I developed the skills and found the right tools to succeed and gained an A* at the end of my studies. I really want to help students up to GCSE level, or people beginning to learn Spanish gain the confidence to reach their full potential and give them the tools to learn Spanish confidently and effectively.

About the lesson

I am currently looking to teach up to GCSE level Spanish and my lessons can be 45 minutes to an hour long. I love getting to know people and helping people achieve their full potential. In the first free lesson, we will take time getting to know each other and understanding what it is you want to gain from these session. All lessons will be tailored each week meet each students individual needs, whether that be a focus on grammar, listening, reading, writing, translation, speaking or exam preparation. Having studied Spanish at GCSE, A-level and now degree level I understand the challenges that we face when learning a new language, I want to help students overcome these challenges and develop the skills and tools to learn Spanish in an effective and fun way. I am a very patient and approachable person and will make sure you feel comfortable and confident in my sessions, as this is so important for language learning.
