About Rabiha
As a Dental Student, I have developed a good understanding of how to communicate clearly and explain difficult topics in a way that makes sense to each student. I have always enjoyed teaching, which is one of the reasons I chose a career in Dentistry.
Having gone through GCSEs, A-Levels, university applications and interviews myself, I know how stressful exams and assessments can be. I want my lessons to be a comfortable space where students can ask questions, make mistakes and take their time to properly understand a topic. I aim to help students not only improve their grades, but also build the confidence to approach exams feeling prepared and capable.

I teach GCSE and A-Level students in Biology and Chemistry. I like to keep my lessons structured while making sure they are interactive and suited to each student. I prepare clear lesson notes beforehand and encourage students to ask questions throughout the lesson. I also leave time for students to recap what they have learnt and explain concepts back to me, which helps me check their understanding and pick up on any misconceptions.
A big part of my lessons is exam practice. We work through exam-style questions together, and I set homework after each lesson, which I mark in my own time and go through with the student in the following lesson.
I have been tutoring for 5 years and have experience teaching both GCSE and A-Level Biology and Chemistry. I achieved Grade 9s in Biology and Chemistry at GCSE and A*s at A-Level. I am now a 2nd-year Dental Student and have also worked as a teaching assistant in schools and as a mentor to younger students.
Lessons are usually 1 hour per week, although I am happy to arrange longer or more frequent lessons when needed.
