About Kanayo
I am a 2nd year Aerospace Engineering student at the University of Sheffield. I have 10 iGCSEs and 3 A levels which include A-A* in Maths and Physics across both qualifications. I have previously tutored maths and physics to family members over lockdown, and the highest achieved grades were 9 and 8 in maths and physics respectively. I have also taken young children on scientific tours around London as work experience so I am well tuned in teaching and peaking the interest of young minds.

I like to work in conjunction with the school syllabus and see what areas the student needs help in. The method I work with is I give the student the material to understand the problems and teach it in a way that doesn’t seem too overwhelming. Then once they have claimed a base grasp of the subject I then proceed to give them practice questions to consolidate their knowledge of the topic. I try to be patient with the student(s) and see things from their perspective as I too have been a student and I know what worked best for my peers and I.
