About Sadiq

Apart from the fact that I have a degree in Economics during which I per took in courses like Computer Application, Managerial and Health Economics among others, I have also worked in a private travel firm (Azhab Travel Ltd) in the customer service department for more than four years where we dealt with large number of people on a daily basis. Prior to that, I have worked in an internet café for three years where we train clients, undertake all sorts of online registrations for our clients, deliver computer based exams training for the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) prospective candidates, do computer maintenance services and offer ICT consultancy services as well. Also, I have experience working in exams as I have served in voluntary teaching of English Language in my community mostly for adults and however served as a class room teacher under the Npower Program (a Nigerian teaching empowerment program).

I am a graduate of Economics with an upper second class division from Bayero University Kano. I did my National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) as an office assistant in the human resources department at the Office of the Auditor General of Jigawa State for the whole of my one year mandatory service and then continued working there for about two years. I currently work with a private security firm (TOTAL SECURE NIGERIA LIMITED) as the regional administrative and logistics officer where I manage patrols with armed Nigerian police and operate to ensure that compliance, risk and security standards are monitored and maintained by everyone under my care. I have a good working knowledge and understanding of the English language and it is without doubt that I am proficient in Microsoft Office use and other computer software application packages because all the work experience I have acquired so far was through the proficient use of the computer system. I am a northerner but I have lived for more than ten years in the south western Nigeria (Lagos) where we have people from different background from different regions, which is an indication that I can co-exist and tutor in any environment I find myself in with people of varying mindsets and backgrounds from mine.
