About Ben
I graduated from the University of Glasgow with a 1st Class honours degree in Veterinary Biosciences in 2020 before pursuing my long term passion for Veterinary Medicine at the Royal Veterinary College in London. Although, this is the first time I have tutored I have long enjoyed teaching and helping others to improve their understanding of subjects that I find fascinating. Alongside this I have experience coaching rugby at a secondary school level so have developed great communication skills to allow me to pass my knowledge on.

Having studied biosciences to an advanced level I am well suited to provide help in all areas of biology studies across a multitude of ages. I am also well equipped to assist any prospective veterinary students with applications and preparing for university. Lessons are typically an hour long but this can be customised to suit your needs. I like to work closely with my tutees to address the areas they would like to work on with a tailored approach that will help to boost their confidence as well as understanding!

Perfect! Always very prepared with structured lesson plans, and clearly highlights the key concepts you need to know for exams and beyond. Explains difficult concepts well, and provides scientific diagrams, which is great for visual learning!
