About Benjamin
I am a recent Physics master’s graduate from Durham University (1st class MPhys degree with honours). I will soon be pursuing a Physics PhD programme working on the Large Hadron Collider at CERN in Geneva, Switzerland.
Throughout my time at university, I have tutored students of ranging age and ability. I am passionate about explaining fundamental concepts to help nurture the next generation of mathematicians and physicists.
I also have industrial experience at BAE Systems and so am used to explain difficult concepts.
I achieved 3 A*'s at A-Level in Further Maths, Maths and Physics, so I know how to crack those tricky questions.

I believe physics and mathematics teaching is unlike any other subject. Once students have developed fundamental problem-solving skills, I plan to construct questions which are tailored to their ability and similar to the ones they will encounter in exams. I will assess their strengths and weaknesses and construct my lessons appropriately. This will make them well-rounded mathematicians/physicists capable of answering any question that comes their way!
