I have been tutoring for a couple years now! My cousin and my boyfriend both struggle with math and I've always been great at math. One thing I would do is work it out with you I wouldn't just say do this and expect you to know what it is. I love when people ask me questions on how I got the answer or how I did the step. My lesson plan would first be making sure you know multiplications because believe it or not it helps so much in math and then I would give you some sample questions on what we just learned. One thing that sets me apart from anyone else is that I'm a teen and I understand being lost or confused at school, I mean who isn't.
