About Elaete

I am passionate about learning and teaching and I hope to inspire this love into my students. I have a lot of experience tutoring my class peers, my extended family members and my own friends. I taught myself French so I understand how people learn languages and how I can instil this knowledge in other students.

About the lesson

With beginner (A1) students I start with basic vocab, counting and grammar which progresses into basic conjugation, accurate pronunciation, and basic reading and writing.

With low intermediate students (A2), I work on harder advanced grammar and conjugation, exploring more advanced tenses so that the student can begin forming basic sentences and reading short simple texts.

Progressing into B1, we will explore more advanced conjugation tenses that will help express more complex ideas. At this level we will learn to be able to listen, read, and speak at a high level.

What makes me different as a tutor is my background, growing up I was exposed to various languages such as French, Swahili, English and Ateso. This exposure allowed me to pick up languages at a quicker rate and use those language learning skills to apply to other areas in my life.
