About François-Camille

✦ TEACHING IS NOT JUST A JOB — IT IS A PASSION. ✦

After two years of Classes Préparatoires, followed by admission to MINES, I chose to pursue a doctoral path. I am currently studying for an International Master’s in Mathematical Physics at the University of Dijon.

I also hold a DEUG in Classical Studies, which I completed alongside my Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics. This background allows me to bring my students not only mathematical knowledge, but also the historical, linguistic and philosophical context surrounding mathematics.

Having been bilingual since adolescence, I am also able to teach mathematics entirely in French, for students who wish to develop both their mathematical understanding and their French mathematical vocabulary.

About the lesson

I offer specialist private tuition in Mathematics for GCSE and A-Level students, as well as undergraduate and university students. I also support ambitious students preparing for competitive university admissions, including Oxford and Cambridge, STEP, MAT and other mathematics entrance assessments and interviews.

Having now been an independent tutor for 7 years, I put my experience, teaching skills and motivation at the service of my students, helping them build confidence, develop strong mathematical skills and work towards excellence.

★ My method ★

➤ Personalised support — Lesson summaries, method sheets, handouts and videos to help students consolidate what they have learnt.

➤ Understanding and retention — I regularly check that each topic has been properly understood and memorised, rather than simply moving on to the next lesson.

➤ Tailor-made exercises — We work through carefully selected exercises adapted to each student's level and objectives, with a focus on developing an effective problem-solving method.

➤ Progress monitoring — I provide progress reports for parents or legal guardians, so they can follow the student's development.

François-camille made it look so easy, he has loads of tricks to understand the main points and to be able to get back on track with my exams ! Definitely saved my first year of uni !
