About Louise
With over 7 years of experience teaching French to college students, I focus on building confidence through clear explanations and regular practice.
My teaching style is patient, motivating, and student-friendly. I adjust lessons based on individual learning needs. Grammar topics are broken into simple steps, and vocabulary is practised through daily-use examples.
I use innovative techniques such as conversation practice, role-plays, listening activities, and interactive exercises. These help students speak French naturally and reduce fear of making mistakes.
I offer clear feedback and positive encouragement. Learning is steady, comfortable, and enjoyable.
My aim is to help college students speak and understand French with confidence and ease.

I teach French with a focus on building confidence, creativity, critical thinking, and mentorship. Lessons are interactive and practical, using storytelling, role-plays, dialogues, and real-life examples to make learning engaging, meaningful, and enjoyable.
As a mentor, I guide students to analyse grammar, vocabulary, and sentence structures critically. They are encouraged to solve problems independently, think creatively, and express themselves clearly in both written and spoken French. This approach nurtures confidence, analytical thinking, and effective communication skills.
Accountability is central to my teaching. I help students set realistic goals, monitor progress, and provide constructive feedback to ensure continuous growth. Lessons are personalised to each student’s strengths, pace, and learning style.
In addition to French, I can teach literature, writing, and language comprehension. My goal is to create a supportive, flexible, and inspiring environment where students excel academically while developing creativity, critical thinking, and lifelong skills.
