At first i like to start the topic from zero level and give enough time to explain basics so that the students will develop a thinking approach for the topic which will help them to understand advance level easily.
For Arts subject its a myth that you can learn facts and pass the examination but now its not the time where you could do that and get success you need to have critical analysis which requires thematic understanding even aspirants of UPSC CSE and various other competitive exams are now recruited on the basis of decision making ability which comes from analysis not by mugging facts so being a UPSC aspirant I use this experience to develope this kind of attitude in student so that they do not have to start from the begnning when they start preparing for the exam. and for science and maths you require logical thinking and conceptual clarity which i take as priority.
