I am an 18-year-old first year student at the university of Edinburgh studying Russian and mandarin with the view of going into diplomacy or human rights law. I enjoy dancing and drama and have experience of working as a childminder.

My teaching method is relaxed and friendly; it’s important for the student to feel welcome and at ease so they can ask those questions that they don’t want to ask teachers or classmates. I believe that speaking in Russian allows students to learn vocabulary and a more authentic way of speaking whilst also allowing their muscle memory and natural instinct take over when it comes to cases and grammar if they have the strong foundations. I am happy to do lessons specific grammar in order to allow them to practice more freely.
