About Ana

¡Hola! My name is Ana Gabriela, and I’m a proud Colombian who is passionate about teaching and sharing the beauty of the Spanish language. My approach as a tutor: patient, adaptable, and focused on helping each student feel confident and motivated. I see language as more than words—it’s a way to connect with culture, people, and new opportunities. That’s why I enjoy bringing Latin American traditions, music, and real-life examples into my lessons, so learning Spanish feels natural, relevant, and fun. When I’m not teaching, I love reading, writing, and exploring life in New York City. As someone who moved abroad myself, I understand what it feels like to learn and adapt to a new language and culture, and I use that empathy to support my students in their learning journey. My goal is simple: to make Spanish not just something you study, but something you live and enjoy.
