About Siah

When I first began studying Economics, I felt completely overwhelmed. I didn’t know where to start or how to approach the subject, and it felt confusing and intimidating. However, once I discovered the right learning methods, Economics became something I could build step by step, and I began to truly enjoy the process of understanding how each concept connects.

Through my experience, I have developed structured and effective teaching approaches, and I am confident in my ability to adapt my teaching style to suit each student’s individual learning needs. I take pride in providing clear guidance, strong academic support, and a learning environment where students can grow in both confidence and performance.

About the lesson

At the beginning, studying Economics felt overwhelming. However, from DP1 onwards, I consistently ranked 2nd or 3rd in my class, which allowed me to develop a genuine interest in the subject. Looking back, I believe this improvement came from understanding the logical flow behind economic concepts, rather than relying on rote memorization.

IB Economics focuses heavily on concepts that can be observed in real life. When taught through relevant and practical examples, it becomes a subject that is both approachable and engaging. I guide students step by step—from core definitions and diagrams to calculations and exam techniques—and help them express their ideas clearly and concisely in essays to maximize their scores.
