About Kyle
I love learning, and I love helping others learn.
When I was in High School, I started tutoring students in math classes, and learned that I love teaching. In college, I quickly came to love science classes, and decided I wanted to teach chemistry. So, for five semesters, I taught students how to succeed in college general chemistry.
My goal is to become a family doctor, and teach future medical students how to create practices that best serve diverse populations and people with disabilities.
Outside of school, I love playing soccer, reading books, making food, and sometimes thinking about nothing. Life is hard sometimes. Let me help!

I help high school and college students gain mastery in science courses (especially chemistry) by improving problem solving skills. Not only will I explain concepts, but I help students recognize their own thinking processes, and seek to help students make connections to material that makes sense to them individually.
A typical lesson includes reviewing topics from the previous meeting, answering conceptual questions, practicing difficult problems to improve problem solving skills, and a plan for what to work on before the next meeting.
I really care about my students' success. After five semesters of teaching college chemistry students, my compassion is what my students notice and appreciate the most.
