Alyna is my best friend, but beyond that, they have helped me navigate difficult situations and lessons several times both within and beyond academics. They are a very attentive teacher who cares about ensuring understanding and cultivating a love for the subject matter. If you don't understand something, they don’t get discouraged or impatient. Alyna knows that learning is not robotic or rigid, and they bring excitement and flexibility to their lessons while also ensuring that their students have as many opportunities to absorb the skills necessary. In this way, Alyna doesn’t just teach lessons, they teach people to love learning. If I am ever at a loss or struggling to understand something, I can wholeheartedly trust that Alyna will steer me right.
