About Emiliano
I am a Spanish native teacher (clear Castilian accent – Salamanca) with solid experience preparing students for GCSE and A-Level exams. I lived in the UK for several years with my family, where my children completed both GCSEs and A-Levels. I speak fluent English and understand British culture, which helps me connect with students and explain difficult points clearly in their own language. In my lessons we will focus on listening, reading, writing and speaking in a practical and enjoyable way, always with a method tailored to your level. My goal: to help you succeed in your exams while enjoying learning Spanish!

My approach I start from the student’s actual level (Foundation/Higher Tier in GCSE or A-Level level) and the chosen exam board (AQA or Pearson Edexcel). I combine school materials with my own resources, reinforcing gaps and specific needs. In-depth knowledge of the regulatory framework aligned with the new DfE/Ofqual subject content and learning objectives (first teaching 2024, first assessment 2026). What we do in class Targeted reinforcement of vocabulary, grammar and key structures. Intensive practice with past papers and analysis of mark schemes (“decoded”) to understand how to maximise marks. GCSE: listening & reading comprehension, photo cards and role-plays. A-Level: essays, translations and text analysis. Methodology Programmatic and practical approach, with short sequences, immediate feedback and proven resources (e.g. CGP). Exam-specific techniques for each paper, focusing especially on the areas the student finds most challenging. Objective and pace Dual goal: achieving the highest possible grade and enjoying the learning process (motivation is the key to progress). To make solid progress, I recommend a minimum of 2 lessons per week.
