About Ivy

I completed a Bachelor’s Degree in French Linguistics and Cultural Communication after developing a strong interest in international language and cultural exchange during my academic studies. During the past 6 years, I have worked with students from many different backgrounds and learning levels, helping them improve their French skills through supportive and practical instruction. Teaching French allows me to combine education, communication, and meaningful cultural connection in a rewarding way. I enjoy helping learners become more confident expressing themselves in another language.

My teaching style focuses on communication, patience, and adaptability. Some students improve best through grammar-focused exercises and structured learning, while others respond more naturally to conversations and interactive speaking activities. I carefully adapt lessons according to each learner’s learning style, comfort level, and communication goals. Along with technical language development, I help students strengthen pronunciation, listening ability, vocabulary retention, and conversational fluency. Building a calm and welcoming learning atmosphere remains one of my highest priorities.

Outside teaching, I enjoy reading French literature, exploring international films, and continuing my own cultural studies through travel and language research. These interests help me bring relatable examples and fresh ideas into lessons regularly. I believe language learning creates opportunities for confidence, connection, and personal growth across cultures. One of the most rewarding parts of teaching is seeing students communicate comfortably in situations that once felt unfamiliar or difficult.

About the lesson

My French lessons are designed to help students build practical communication skills through engaging and supportive learning methods. I teach pronunciation, grammar foundations, vocabulary development, listening comprehension, and sentence construction using explanations that feel clear and approachable for learners at every stage. Lessons also include conversation practice, storytelling exercises, audio activities, roleplays, and cultural discussions that help students understand how French is used naturally in real situations. I create a relaxed learning atmosphere where students feel encouraged to participate openly and improve steadily without fear of mistakes. Every lesson supports confidence, fluency, and long-term communication growth.

Beginners receive patient guidance with greetings, pronunciation practice, common vocabulary, and simple sentence formation through organized repetition and interactive exercises. Intermediate learners improve conversational flow, listening accuracy, speaking confidence, and response timing through guided communication activities and structured discussions. Advanced students focus on natural expression, smoother fluency, and stronger communication ability through advanced speaking practice and cultural exploration. I carefully adapt lessons according to each learner’s pace, goals, and confidence level so progress remains balanced and encouraging throughout the learning process.

Learning French should feel enjoyable, practical, and rewarding. I encourage students to practice naturally during lessons instead of depending only on memorization methods. Many learners become more expressive and comfortable communicating as their confidence continues improving over time. My goal is to help students build strong language foundations while enjoying the cultural experiences connected to French-speaking communities. Every lesson supports confidence, curiosity, and lasting language development.
