About Abdulhamid
I am a secondary Science teacher with 5+ years’ experience teaching **IGCSE Physics**, **AP Physics 1** (instruction/tutoring), and middle school science in Egypt and the UAE; I currently serve as Grade 7 Science Content Lead at Al Qeyam Charter School (Taaleem). My academic background is in physics with a focus on nanotechnology, plus an educational diploma, and I am pursuing a master’s in Physics (Nanotechnology); I am ADEK-approved and have completed safeguarding, assessment, and AP Physics training. My lessons are (inquiry-driven and standards-aligned) (NGSS and Pearson Edexcel), with clear learning objectives and success criteria. I blend short, focused explanations with (guided practice, hands-on/virtual labs, and CER writing) so students explain phenomena using evidence. For diverse and weak learners, I use (scaffolds)—visuals, bilingual (EN/AR) supports, sentence frames, leveled tasks—and frequent (AFL checks) (hinge questions, mini-whiteboards, exit tickets) to reteach quickly. I integrate (PhET/simulations, data notebooks, and structured rubrics) to build mastery, and I contextualize topics with (UAE-relevant examples) and strong lab-safety routines.
