I’m a student at Exeter University, in my second year of study of History. I achieved an A* at GCSE and A Level, as well as an A* at common entrance. History is something I really enjoy studying and also sharing my knowledge of History.

Depending on the student, the lesson will be aimed at developing knowledge of not only History, but also the skills needed to achieve a high grade in exams. Essay writing is a key skill in life, and I aim to develop the skills neccesary to write a high quality essay. Writing a history essay is relatively easy once you know the subject area well enough and you know the template of an essay. The lessons will be around half an hour to an hour long depending on what we’re studying. I’m willing to look over any essays the student has already written and provide personalised feedback, with specific areas the student can aim to improve upon, and in the subsequent lessons work hard to rectify these errors.
