About Jeffrey

I'm an English and Spanish teacher! I'm a native English speaker, I speak both Spanish and Portuguese at an advanced level (C1), and Italian and Hebrew at an upper-intermediate level (B2). I have taught English in South Korea, Spain, Chile and Brazil. I have been an English and Spanish teacher for 14 years, and have taught over 1,500 students. My students have seen an increase in their grades, have made the Honor Roll, and have been able to communicate with friends, family and coworkers in English and Spanish thanks to my lessons.

About the lesson

Throughout my career in education, it has always been my passion and priority to make a difference in the life of every student. I believe you learn best using natural, authentic conversations. Whatever you learn, the information must be practical. If you're not going to use it, then it is less motivating to learn it. If you take on too much at once, it becomes too difficult. Therefore, lessons should be bite-sized, in order to facilitate learning.

--I contextualize grammar and vocabulary, and have conversations about topics that are meaningful and relevant to you.
--I will provide homework exercises for you to complete, which we will review during our following lesson.
--We will use pictures, videos and have lots of pronunciation and speaking practice.
--We will use the target language as much as possible, so you get the most out of every lesson.
--I will provide constructive feedback.

Having studied 4 foreign languages so far, I know how hard it is to learn a foreign language. However, don't worry! I'll be your guide every step of the way.
