About Larisa

Hi there,

My name is Larisa, and I am a native Russian speaker (was born in the Republic of Buryatia). Currently, I live in Canberra and work at the Australian National University. I've been teaching Russian to English and German-speaking students since last year.

I have a 2-year experience of teaching Russian as a foreign language. I completed the Teaching Russian as a Foreign Language course at Tomsk Polytechnic University in 2017.

About the lesson

I love explaining complicated grammar concepts to my students and seeing how they are progressing. I bring creativity and fun to my classes. Together we can master writing, reading and speaking in the language and also learn fun facts about Russia and its people and culture. You will enjoy your journey with me!
