About Augusta
My name is Augusta and I matriculated in 2018 with 2 distinctions. My final code for English Home Language was a 6, so I was quite close to a distinction. After matric, I studied computer-aided architectural draughting and now I am obtaining my bachelor's degree in business administration. I have proofread many assignments, and an author's manuscripts, and written and updated countless CVs.

Holistic learning is the way forward, understanding you as a student will better equip me to teach you in the best way for you, which is what I meant by a personalized teaching style. I am proficient in English.
In a typical lesson with me, we will first make sure that you are in the right mindset and feeling okay. Then you can tell me what work you are struggling with exactly. I will then cover what I understand about the subject matter, and then you can provide feedback on whether or not it was helpful. If it wasn't then you should stop me the moment you are lost or confused. We will recalibrate from there and I will then try to explain it in a different way. After this, you will complete an activity and I will provide feedback on your progress.
These lessons are aimed at high school and primary school students who might be struggling with the English language.
My lessons for CV writing will be a bit different. After making sure that you are in the right mindset and feeling okay. You can show me what your current CV looks like and then explain the way you would like for it to look. I will take notes as you explain which will be a guideline for me to help you change or re-write your CV. I will guide you through the process by explaining as you go along making the changes.
These lessons are aimed at tertiary and high school students looking to polish up their CV for job hunting or even for homework or an assignment.
