Hi, I’m Tala, but you can call me Tee. I’m a Canadian tutor with over 10 years of experience teaching English and Math to students of different ages and backgrounds. My tutoring approach is practical, personalized, and focused on building both confidence and real understanding. I adapt my teaching style to each student’s goals, whether that is improving conversational English, preparing for exams such as the SAT, strengthening writing skills, or mastering math concepts. I combine clear explanations with guided practice, real-life examples, and regular feedback to help students retain what they learn.
Lessons typically run between 50 and 60 minutes, though longer sessions can be arranged for exam preparation or intensive support. I hold a CELTA certification and have over 10 years of teaching experience, including teaching SAT Math and English at The Princeton Review. I also have an academic background in English, American Studies, and data analytics, which allows me to support both language development and quantitative subjects effectively.
My lessons are suitable for teenagers, university students, and adult learners at beginner to advanced levels. I work especially well with students who want structured improvement, exam preparation, or practical language and math skills they can use in academic, professional, or everyday contexts.
